Hardie Plank Installation on Exterior

This week the Hardie plank siding started being put on at 100 Yorktown.  Now we just have to decide what color.  Ironically, we sort of like the primer color.

Mud Room Tile

The mud room tile was finished on Thursday August 18, 2011.  It was the last tile laid in the house.  We hope the dark tile in this well trafficed area will not show the dirt and grim of daily life.

Master Tile Finished

Karen's anguish over the Master Bathroom tile is over as Jerry finished the tile on Thursday, August 18, 2011. As the photos show Cam has already staked his claim on the tub. Now we just need the tub inserted, the shower enclosure, vanities, plumbing fixtures, and some lights.

August 15, 2011 - Dallas has been working on our stairs for a few days. Here is the progress through today. We still are trying to decide how these will be finished off, but so far so good.

August 15, 2011 - Here are some photos of the progress on the Master Bath tile. Hopefully they will complete setting it tomorrow. We are really happy with how it is coming together.

August 10, 2011 - The Bonus Room was painted today. These are the last rooms in the house to be painted. This is the final result after looking at three different paint samples on the wall. The paint colors are Sherwin Williams Blonde and Dignity Blue. Southgate Residential suggested we borrow from our college's colors of blue and gold as a theme for this family space. We can't wait to spend time up here.

August 10, 2011 - Master Bathroom Tile

The tile was laid in the master bathroom today. It looks awesome. Thanks to Southgate Residential for helping with tile design. The remainder of the shower will be laid tomorrow.
