Let the Digging Begin: Construction Week 1 Day 1 - March 14, 2011

Things finally starting rolling on Monday March 14, 2011.  Between bank delays and a snowy/rainy weather, we started a few weeks late from our March 1 target date.  Good soils, no rock means the digging will be easy.  The work crew got almost the entire footer dug the first day.

The loose dirt didn't make up for the sorry weather.  Rain that briefly turned into snow.  Makes us wonder if it will be snowing when the day we move in.  We hope not.
